Our Wine
The Estate is situated in the Carrickalinga hills 270 meters above sea level on the
Fleurieu Peninsula. The cool maritime climate allows for a slow even ripening. This combined with traditional wine making techniques and maturation in finest French and American oak produces a well balanced wine with soft tannins, intense colour and regional distinction.

Viticultural Practices
Scott Henry Trellis, close density planting in gravel loam over red clay soils, organic principles, minimal irrigation, hand pruned and picked. Wine Making Techniques Open fermented in small batches, hand plunged, basket pressed and barrel matured in French and American oak.Our wines receive no fining or filtration prior to bottling. It is normal that a little sediment will form in the bottle during maturation but this is easily removed by decanting prior to serving if you wish. |
